Boxberg Block R power station

The new power station block, with a gross output of 675 megawatts, will determine the state of the art, meet stringent environmental requirements, and be connected to the grid during base load operation. High efficiency is of paramount importance for energy conversion in power stations. Increasing fuel efficiency can further minimise carbon dioxide emissions. The new BoxR power station block will have a net efficiency of more than 43 percent.
